I offer custom pictures of animals created from photographs that you send to me. (These will be returned to you along with the finished picture).  The custom artwork is placed in a mat cut to size, ready for framing. You need to find a frame that you like or order custom framing.

The standard offer is to paint animal portraits (heads) of single animals. You can see some examples of such pictures at the Pet Gallery. The standard offer also means that the artwork is done by using my own mixed painting technique, which is a combination of acrylics, pastels and watercolours.  Paintings are created on acid-free paper to ensure their lasting quality.

I offer two basic picture sizes. These allow for using standard frames. The prices of the standard pictures painted on acid-free paper with my mixed technique are:

  9" x 12"   -    $250.00 Can
12" x 16"   -    $350.00 Can

Standard shipping and handling is included in the price of my artwork. There are
no extra costs, just the price I quote you.

Time schedule. I need a minimum of two weeks since when I receive acceptable photographs to  completion of the artwork. You also must allow time for shipping the pictures. However, two weeks is  the minimum and it will depend on my ongoing commitments. Individual time to complete the order will be discussed during our intial contact

Options. The standard offer is to give you an idea about the prices. But we may discuss many other options, for which I will need to give you a quote.  These options may include:
n Larger and custom sizes
n Medium on which the artwork is created ( paper, board or canvas)
n Portraits (pet face), pictures of whole animals or more than one animal in a setting
n Variety of art techniques such as acrylic painting, ink, pastel or pencil drawing
n Besides animals I also create custom pictures of pioneer homesteads (drawn in ink) as you can see on the  Homesteads part of this website
Please, give me a call or send me an E-mail to discuss what you would like to order. Be sure you have read about the process of ordering and creating the artwork and understand some details about taking photographs of the animal.
